Having watched programmes like Grand Designs, we were sceptical about whether we really needed a contracts manager on our build as so many people seem to be able to manage a lot of the elements themselves. However, with the benefit of hindsight it was a worthwhile investment. Without Dan’s help we would have had a significant cost overrun on our build. Dan also did a great job of managing all the complexity associated with the contractual elements of the project and ensuring that at every step of the process work was completed as specified.
