Contract Administration

We are highly experienced at drafting robust contracts between Client and Contractor and will continuously monitor the project and chair progress meetings to ensure all contractual obligations are met and appropriate contract documentation is produced. We will issue instructions as appropriate, certify valuations & variations and keep a final account contract sum up to date.

Drafting contracts

Whether the build project is simple and relatively inexpensive, or complex and of significant cost, it is imperative that some form of agreement is entered into by the parties involved to, as a minimum, define the work to be undertaken, the build period and the agreed cost. Occasionally clients require a simple contract, covering the basics, and agree to liaise with the contractor to deliver.

Contract administration

More often Clients require Whitebeam to execute a slightly more detailed contract which has to be administered by a named third party who is qualified to do so, is unbiased and impartial. The appointment of such a third party gives the client (who may have no build or contract experience) the confidence that the contract will be administered properly and will greatly reduce their time input and gives the contractor the confidence that a candid, experienced party will be managing the contractual elements of the build.
