Cost Planning

Let us help ensure that the building design meets the anticipated budget. We can produce a standalone early stage project costing document or a working document for use throughout the design process.

Who uses this service?

This service is often used by our architect clients who will produce an outline project design and want to cost check the design, against budget, before committing to more detailed technical plans, submitting a planning approval or expending further fees.

How do we create cost plans?

Whitebeam can produce Cost Plans from as little information as a sketch design or outline specification. We can offer cost alternatives based on optional specifications. For larger projects we can review supplementary information (such as planning obligations (section 106), infrastructure, land purchase and revenue streams) to produce viability studies for developers. Cost Plans can then become working documents which are reviewed as and when information and design is updated and developed, to ensure overall cost, or elements of it, are remaining within budget or should be red flagged for review.
